A premiere issue for The RESULTS Guy, Tony Jeary
At the Murray Media Group, I lead the project management and design of a new magazine for Tony Jeary called RESULTS. He is known as the RESULTS Guy, named after the RESULTS Center which he founded in Flower Mound, Texas. This is where business consultation and guidance is provided for high profile entrepreneurs and exclusive clientele. Tony is the author of many books and videos and a speaker at conventions nation-wide.
This magazine was a premiere edition, so careful strategy and conceptualization went into representing his brand identity. He wanted several pages of minimal, solid black to convey a sophisticated style sensibility to his audience. I and my team looked at design references to successfully capture a refined look and feel, using just a few classic fonts and full bleed photography. Promoting the books and his motivational teachings were central to key messaging. A three-column grid influenced the layout with a balanced juxtaposition of elements creating a clean design aesthetic.
