Margaret Z.

Margaret Z. is a professional Seattle freelance writer who wanted a fun and more interesting alternative to represent her identity online. She preferred a characterized version of her likeness over a standard portrait photo, to retain a level of anonymity. A colorful avatar was created for her profiles on various social media platforms. Working from an existing photograph, I emphasized the dominant features in her face. A final vector graphic in different color variations was created, to fit the parameters of a square image format.
